IN SEARCH
“In Search” is a collection of visual experiments, each work in which is unique in form, style or technique, but united by a common idea of search. This series does not strive for completeness or final approval - on the contrary, it functions as a laboratory, a field for trial, doubt and discovery. Each work is a kind of question, not an answer, a fixation of a path. These works are significant to me precisely because of their incompleteness. The “In Search of” collection is not only for art collectors, but also for those who appreciate the depth of research. Experimenting with different techniques and source materials to create my work I explore beauty, its facets, embodiments and identity My images range from abstract to figurative; they often contain direct or indirect references. Despite any possible similarities, I encourage a more open reading of my work. Many of my paintings often contain literal or indirect references. Despite any possible similarities, I encourage a more open reading of my work. I want to bring up your feelings that lie deep inside on the surface. Color has a mass of its own that fills all space. I continue to explore my interest in nature beyond this space, and I try to let the painting create itself, create the conditions in which it will grow, become something. I rely a lot on the nature of the materials I use, so sometimes it's really an exploration, as if you've entered a space you've never been in before and discovered things you didn't even know existed. Painting is about leaving traces somewhere, just as our lives leave traces in the space, on the walls or in the environment we live in. So I try to leave traces and understand the canvas as a place where things inevitably have been, where events happen, where life happens. I believe in the idea of professionalism in painting, which some artists don't like. And even if you have a talent for something and you know it will be something worth living for, you have to make an effort. We have the ability to read things, to read everything in what we understand
