PORTRAITS OF PRESENCE

These portraits examine psychological presence beyond physical likeness. The human face becomes a field of tension — constructed through deliberate drawing and disrupted by expressive layers of color. Blue operates not as a naturalistic tone, but as an emotional atmosphere. Fragmented brushwork and subtle distortions introduce vulnerability and interior movement. The figure appears suspended between strength and fragility, structure and dissolution. Rather than depicting identity, the work questions it — presenting the body as a site of transformation and inner intensity. My art is a dialog with the body, light, space and the viewer. Not only technique is important, but also the ability to feel the depth of human nature. Here form takes a back seat to emotion, mood and the energy of color. It seems that the figure pulsates, lives, changes depending on the angle of view and perception of the viewer. The human body becomes a canvas for experience. Each stroke speaks of life, each shade sounds, and each image remains in the memory, evoking strong emotions. I balance between opposites, finding harmony in each image. In my works I try to reveal the multi-layered nature of human nature, showing that strength can be soft and tenderness can be confident. It is about perception, feelings and the courage to be yourself. I invite the viewer to reflect on beauty, on boundaries and on how multifaceted and marvelous the nature of nature is. The Art of Rethinking. We have the ability to read things, to read everything in what we understand.
